Los Niños hosted a beehive assembly event in the
ballroom of the downtown Wyndham Emerald Plaza on March 1, 2004.
CHART participants constructed specially made wood hives and hive
foundations that were delivered to a women's beehive cooperative

Imagine... 30 years of Community Development work in the Baja Border
Region.
Imagine... hosting more than 10,000
students over the years and conducting countless projects to improve
the lives of thousands of families and community residents that
call Tijuana, Mexicali, Tecate, and Rosarito their homes.

A New Home For VolunTours!
VolunTours™
became a program of Los Niños in the Summer of 2002. Los Niños
is a nonprofit 501(c) 3 organization and is recognized as a leader
in Service Learning - the combination of Education and Community Service
- for high school, junior college, college, and university students
throughout North America.
The inclusion of VolunTours™ will assist Los Niños in
creating short-term, day-long Service Learning experiences for professionals,
families, alumni, educators, and researchers from around the world
interested in the dynamics of the San Diego/Baja Border Region.
Los Niños has operations throughout the Baja Border Region
and focuses its efforts on community development and education for
residents to assist them in becoming more self reliant.
